Liz Keeley

Liz Keeley Studied scientific illustration, a combination of natural history and medical illustration at Middlesex Polytechnic, where she met her husband Jason, a graphic designer and artist.

After graduating she freelanced for a number of years illustrating children’s books, nursing manuals and magazines before becoming a mum. Painting went on the back burner for a while but when her daughter started school she returned to painting but instead of using watercolour with its meticulous attention to detail, she turned her hand to oil painting. This enabled her to paint much more freely and spontaneously than she had done for years.

She loves to paint all natural things especially fruit and vegetables.

Cooking is her other passion which she loves and is another expression of her creativity.

While at the art studios she also used her space to make jewellery and Christmas decorations and on a few occasions shared the space with her dad Brian who is also an artist.
