F.L. Griggs 1878-1938

Frederick Landseer Maur Griggs RA RE FSA was an English etcher, architectural draftsman, illustrator, and pioneer conservationist, linked with the Arts and Crafts movement's late bloom in the Cotswolds, particularly in Chipping Campden. He was among the initial etchers to gain full membership at the Royal Academy and contributed to the last wave of the Etching Revival in Britain. In 1934, he was appointed Master of the Art Workers' Guild.
